Hire for Special Events

Providing donkey rides at an event or fete is a great way to; attract a wide range of customers, raise valuable funds and bring smiles to the young at heart.

Through running the “Donkey Rides” Concession at Butlins, Minehead we are experienced at running a professional service.

We can help your event in two different ways.

By coming free of charge to your event and then giving you a percentage of our takings.
Or you hire donkeys and handlers at a ratio of 2:1. It is your decision then whether to provide the rides free to your customers or to make a charge to your customers.

We have successfully ran rides at a huge variety of events from; flower shows, to carnivals to Chutney festivals and Christmas Fetes.

Our donkeys welfare is our priority; we follow all of the Donkey Sanctuary Guidelines, who were very impressed when they observed the way we operated our rides and treated our donkeys.

We have public, liability insurance and employers liability insurance for £5 million pounds. We have a full Riding Establishment License, granted by Taunton Deane Borough Council.

We can carry out a risk assessment and to minimise any problems we can; corden off an area for rides and collect the donkey manure in “special poo bags.”

We will travel to your venue if you are within a 60 mile radius of Taunton, Somerset.

We always make sure that when we leave your site, it is as tidy as if we had never been there!
